Arsenal FC Unai Emery Happy To Be Patient In Transfer Market

Sharing is caring!

Arsenal FC’s Unai Emery said he is glad to be tolerant in the transfer window and will trust that the correct player will end up accessible.

The North London side’s manager made a speech in the wake of watching his players make two successive victories from two International Champions Cup matches, with a 3-0 triumph over Fiorentina on July 20 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

“Really I am with Patience because we want to choose the best solution,” Emery said. “Some players are very expensive and we are waiting for this possibility.

“We don’t want now to go to the second line of players.

“We are waiting. We have very good players. We have very good young players.

“We are aware also that we need to improve some players in this squad. I want to sign one, two, three or four players only if we can be sure they are coming to improve our team.”

The Gunners have been connected heavily with French national defender William Saliba in the British media, in a deal that would see the defender come back to current club Saint-Etienne in France on loan deal as a major aspect of the agreement. The Gunners are also yet to conclude a deal for Wilfred Zaha, the Crystal Palace winger.

Arsenal have initially made a EUR40 million bid for the 26-year-old which was turned down. It is reported that Crystal Palace has requested a near EUR80 million transfer fee for the Ivorian star.

Emery has consequently stated that there were various potential outcomes that could arise and he was in steady contact with sporting director Edu and head of football Raul Sanllehi, while they otherwise spoke with the Kroenke family, who are the club’s proprietors.

“There are a great deal of names. The club is working, Edu is very close to me and Raul,” Emery stated.

“We speak each day.”

Now, this should come as good news to all football lovers and gamblers.

Following the Arsenal manager’s statement, it has become obvious that the North London side is gearing up heavily, trying to put up a tough squad for the next season.

It would be recalled that Arsenal made a fairly impressive outing in the last 2018/2019 season with 19 wins, 6 draws and 13 losses, finishing 6th behind Chelsea and Liverpool.

For the many sport gamblers who look forward to Arsenal’s season-long performance in the coming 2019/2020 season, online football betting just got better.

JUST IN!! Man United Issue Fresh BAN On Players (See Details)

Manchester United have been forced to prevent their players from stopping to sign autographs outside the club’s Carrington training ground, due to safety concerns, the UK Telegraph reports.

The club have become concerned about fans, who regularly converge near a blind bend at the junction of Sinderland Lane and Birch Road, which is close to the rear entrance of the training base.

Club chiefs have seen the number of fans increase this summer, due to the school holidays.

Groups of as many as 50 fans gather to get a glimpse of their heroes.

But the club feel the situation poses too great a safety risk to fans’ safety, while the large crowds also present issues for the local farms and residents.

And to prevent fans from standing near the entrance, United have erected a sign warning them from convening in a bid to get autogrpahs.

“Players are not permitted to stop and sign autographs due to danger on the road. No congregating,” it reads.

TEAM NEWS! Lionel Messi Dropped For Barcelona’s LA LIGA Opener Against Athletic Bilbao (See Why)

Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde, will not risk an unfit Lionel Messi in Friday’s LaLiga opener against Athletic Bilbao.

Messi injured his calf in training, before his side’s brief pre-season tour of the United States and has not yet returned to full training a day before the game.

Valverde, speaking to the media on Thursday, insisted he will not gamble on his captain’s fitness.

“We never like to risk any players and much less someone like Leo.

“He still hasn’t returned to training with the team and while we are happy with his progress, individual training is very different to playing a match. We are going to wait and see,” Valverde said.

Barca have spent over £180million on signings including Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann, but continue to be linked with a second swoop for Neymar, two years after he left the Catalans for PSG for a world record £200m.

Valverde claimed he is not involved with transfers at the Camp Nou.

“It’s inconvenient and it’s not logical. The normal thing would be that the team you start with is the same one that will compete for the whole season.

“Now we have two weeks until the transfer window shuts and you can’t breathe easily until then. I’m very happy with the squad I have at the moment but I don’t know what will happen next.

“I am far removed from transfers and I’m focusing on the players I have for our first game.

“Neymar belongs to PSG and we’ll see what happens but I can’t say anything more about him,” he added.
